Classroom of the future opened in High school Karlovac

Fifth classroom of the future sponsored by Microsoft Croatia, Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNet and Storm Computers has opened in High school - Gymnasium Karlovac. Project allows students to learn digital skills and technological trends while teachers have the ability to facilitate the transfer of knowledge. During opening ceremony, students have used tablets, interactive whiteboard and Microsoft Office 365 tools (such as social network Yammer, presentation tool Sway and online wall Padlet). During the demo, students have expanded their German vocabulary and through given exams and exercises they were encouraged to think and develop argument skills through written and oral communication.

As already experienced integrator of classroom of the future solution, Storm Computers has recognized the importance of digitalization in teaching process. With this solution, students and teachers have the ability to use modern tools in teaching and learning according to the latest global technology trends in education. The company is recognized as a partner in the design and implementation of EDU solutions and provides support through educational training. A shared vision of all stakeholders in this project is through this new experience of teaching encourage teachers and students but also their parents to become more involved in creating a new dimension of education and raising the digital competences of students.
